Way back in 2015, Johnny took a tumble and found out he needed ACL surgery. When he showed up at the orthopedic surgeon's office, fate stepped in—Sandy just so happened to be the secretary there. And that’s where the story really begins.

Johnny tried to casually mention her eyes as he checked in, but was passed by with an eye roll. They brought him to the back and performed the procedure. Funny thing is, even under anesthesia, Johnny couldn’t stop talking about Sandy. Apparently, he said all the right things—because when he woke up, there was a phone number tucked under his hospital bracelet.

It took Johnny a couple of days to work up the nerve (and finally cut off that bracelet) to find the number. A few dates later... and the rest is history. Campo was added to the family in 2021.
